Wisla supporters OWNED the stadium. absolutely amazing. The songs alone through pretty much the entire second half sounded fantastic. Can't wait for the second match in Krakow.
I kept saying that if we could keep it to a 1 goal difference, things may turn out OK. Lucky for us that one goal was dissallowed. I think we're in a pretty good spot to advance. |

man... fuck tottenham supporters. Pathetic display from their fans. Bitching and moaning afterwards when they were absolutely showed up by PASSIONATE Wisla followers in their own house.
HA! that match made me so proud to be from Krakow and to cheer for the white star. Can't wait for the home match. If we play a smart game we can absolutely boot those clowns out of the tourny. Onwards Wisla! |

Hi Guys
Just thought I let you know I though your support was excellent at WHL I will be coming out tomorrow and have been to Krakow before so very much looking forward to the trip. Think we have only 1600 coming out due to your ground capacity being low at present I take it one stand is being developed, is that correct? Those 1600 will make more noise than our home support which tends to be not so good as most away teams always make more noise in English football these days, in fact been like that since grounds went all seating. Anyway we are playing very poor at the moment so I guess you must fancy your chances on Thursday, its a Big game for Ramos now and could decide his future with us asa lose would almost certainly get him the sack. We have the players but they are just not performing like they can, we are currently bottom of the Prem but that position will improve once all our new players settle in. Been a strange season so far as we have lost to teams we should have beaten easily and then went to Chelsea and played them off the park and got a 1-1 draw. So as for the result on Thursday, well it depends what Tottenham team turn up but if we score we will certainly go though but the longer it goes without us scoring the more chance you will have in progressing. I will plump for a 1-1 draw and Ramos keeping his job a little longer Enjoy the game as I will .... Come on you Spurs |

First of all Tottenham have many many forums and that it not one I know, most are membership forum and are well controlled by Admins and Mods that wouldn't let rudeness like you talk about happen, there are also a few Hooligan forums so not sure if you have come accross one of those.
As for everyone can beat us well you may have a point currently although it is a very new team again this season and they haven't jelled yet but as I said we went to Chelsea and were the better team for most the game and come away with a 1-1 draw so its hard to say. Also for some unknow reason we keep playing just 1 up front which is not good and the fans certainly let Ramos know this last Sunday at Portsmouth, another game we lost although some might say a little unluckily as they got a dodgy penalty and then still at 1-0 we had a certain penalty turned down, these are not my words but the words of the TV compaines so not a baised view. I guess when your luck is out you don't get the decissions. Ramos has also tinkered with the team in just about every game so far which again has not helped new player settle in. In some respects as some are cup tied he won't be able to tinker too much on Thursday I would hope the team would be:- ------------------ Gomas----------------- Hunter --- King --- Woodgate ---- Bale Bentley -- Zokora -- Modric -- Lennon ---------- Cambell ------ Bent ---------- But expect Ramos will go ..... ---------------------- Gomas-------------------- Zokora -- King -- Woodgate -- Assou-Ekotto Lennon -- Jenas -- Modric -- O'Hara -- Bale --------------------- Bent ------------------------- I think you over confidence and our poor position may put you in a false sence of sercurity I still expect us to be in the draw next Tuesday |

Hi Spurs Fan,
Some of Wisla fans can be pretty much cocky but I can assure you that the team will be most respectful. Of course players can see the oportunity but nobody is overconfident. Hope you'll have a great time in our beautyfull city despite the result which I hope will be in our favour ![]() Bati przeczytaj jego post jeszcze raz i skasuj swoja odpowiedz. Hi Spurs fan,
the one the only Spurs fan here No offence, but it is some change after Beitar Jerusalem.
I don't think you have even 1 600 coming, from what we were informed, Tottenham olny applied for some 1 000 in the end. But I hope you show decent support, that might get ours up and running some more. Have a nice stay. ![]()

The stand with the two pillars isn't our Main Stand and those pillars have been there since the 1930's when the satnd in its original formate was built. That stand use to have the seats in the upper tier (5100) and two other tiers of Standing supporter middle tier (Known as The Shelf) held 11,000 and the lower tier a further 8,000 so prior to all seater stadiums in England that side use to hold over 24,000. I has now been developed so that it now contains all seats and Private Boxes. Our Main Stand is the stand opposite that stand the West Stand where season tickets prices start at £950 (3,750 Zl) to £1675 (6,600 Zl). Our ground which once held over 70,000 now only holds 36,500 and is way too small but we have had lots of problems with the local authorities trying to rebuild. We, as you may well be aware, have not been a top 4 side in England for many years but still sellout every game. We have had numerous plans turn down and we have bought up all the land just North of our current ground to build a new stadium but still we are having problems. This has now been going on for years and the latest is that any new build certainly wouldn't be ready if started at the end of this season till 2012/2013 season at the earliest so they are now looking to take over the New Olympic stadium being built for London 2012 probably for the season 2013/2014 much like Manchester City took over their ground after the Common Wealth Games were held in Mnachester. We need at least 50,000 as our fanbase in the UK is still one of the largest in Englash football and we also have many 1000's that come every year from oversea. Last season we beat Chelsea in the Carling Cup at Wembley and our allocation of 30,000 for the game could have been taken up by oversea supporters alone. Not sure if you watch the game but out of a crowd of 87,000 there were at least 55,000 Spurs, which was obvious as after the game when the cup was being paraded most the ground was still there celebrating. There is alot of talk currently in the English press that we are about to be taken over by a multi billionaire from the Far East (Singapore) and that agent Pini Zahavi flew to Asia last week. So looks like we might become the Next Chelsea/Man City, although I am not 100% comfortable with that. 'The discussions are at a preliminary stage,' a source in Singapore told The Observer last night, 'but the investor is a billionaire and views Spurs as perfect because of the profile of the club and the fact that they are in London. This last point is very important.' The fee for the sale is in the region of £400m Anyway must go as I need to get to the airport soon, looking forward to my trip there and I have been to Krakow before and hope the weather is fine there. What is it like currently, warm still, wet? |

wet, but not bad, quite warm
As for the stand being/not being main. Isn't that stand where the camera positions are? From what I know, the pillars are in the way of games during the PL. And from what I know UEFA demands for main cameras to be on the main stand. That's why I got it that way... And wasn't your club going to announce the future stadium plans finally somewhere around now? (or was it June, but I think it was postponed) I've heard of a 60k in the vicinity. Is that even possible? And how can anyone try to expand the existing if it already hangs over the streets? ![]() That's for later maybe, have a nice stay now. ![]()
