Silent through the whole game?! We sang for most of the game. Maybe you didn't hear us because we were drowned out by your singing, but we were singing. Admittedly it was poorer than usual because of the team's performance at the moment. Two seasons ago at Besiktas our support (and team) were both applauded by the Turkish fans.

I know what you mean about the difference between Polish and British football though. I admire the polish fan culture. It involves a more active style of support. In England there are too many people who just want to watch the game and not sing or anything. For instance, it is usual that the away team will outsing the home team and has been since the 80s. Does this differ in Poland? However, our support is the best in London and one of the best in England along with Man U, Liverpool and Leeds I would say.

We were expecting a lot of trouble from your firm and were surprised to have an easy ride to and from the game and particularly in the bars around the central square later that night. I'm not interested in that sort of thing personally, but some of my friends are. Any reasons why? (just out of interest, I'm not having a go)

Cheers and good luck for the rest of the season
