In more than 60 years of company history, Stechert has developed from the supplier to a production company, which has been producing attractive lines of chairs and tables since the mid-seventies. Since the end of the nineties Stechert has built up a second stand by the manufacture of sports facilities according to FIFA guidelines and has bundled its experience and know-how for these purposes.
In the field of sports facilities, Stechert has developed into a leading supplier of seats. The products stand out for their durability, comfort and modern design. The best examples of these attributes are the current top models "TipUp smart" and "COPACABANA", which was the first stadium chair to win a "Honorable Mention" at the Red Dot Design Award. These models came among others. At the World Cup in Brazil, where four of the twelve stadiums, as well as a training stadium with Stechert seats was equipped. Stechert products were already in use at the World Championships in South Africa (five of ten stadiums equipped with Stechert seats) and in Germany in 2006 (for example, Olympiastadion Berlin). Development, design, assembly and dispatch are carried out on premises at a total of three locations. A high-tech machine park can be used for production.
