Pablooo 02.07.2008 23:35

@ Enalyis_SCB, how have u found us? I mean - Wisla is not so popular in Portugal, am I right?

I watch the "Bwin League" sometimes.. It's often live in one of sports chanell in our country.

Good to hear that u r happy with Paweł Kieszek performance.

samkal77 02.07.2008 23:42

Hi Paolo!

Sporting Clube Braga is very famous among Beitar' fans due to our biggest player ever who played at your team at 90'-91' (25 appearances, 3 goals). He came to SC Braga after his success in KV Mechelen.

Cytat:

By age twenty-three, Ohana had enough with Israeli football and signed with KV Mechelen in Belgium. After one season, Ohana helped bring the club to one of its greatest achievements ever, winning the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. His goal in the semi-final and assist on the game winning goal in the final helped write his name into the history books of Mechelen. Italian magazine, Guerin' Sportivo awarded Ohana with the Bravo Award which is handed out to the best young player (under 23) playing in European competition in a season.
Had u heard about him? He had a tough time at your club and returned to Beitar...

Sorry, you right...the topic is about wisla's fan from Braga, it's just the club that we (beitar's fans) know for the reason i wrote before...i thought maybe he remember him or even better, have some videos, pics etc...that he could share.

Anyway,

Goodnight

I've got a question to you Enalyis_SCB. Wisła is currently testing Antoni Łukasiewicz. Guy was a player of União Leiria last season. He left Poland some time ago for the spanish side Elche and then went on loan to Leiria so we do not have any idea about his current disposition. If he's going to join Wisła, he will most likely be a substitute, nevertheless we would apreciate any information, or your opinion about him.

By the way what's your draw in the toto cup? I can't find it on the UEFA webpage, because there are only fixtures for the second round.

Nice to meet you mate. I am a Wisla supporter from Denmark... Your stadium are certainly one of a kind! I remember Danish national team played there in Euro 2004 against Bulgaria.

I wish your club all the best in the Inter Toto turnament. Maybe our teams can clash in the Uefa Cup if we don't make it to the CL :)

we are very poor in attendance around 12 000, when we have capacity to 30 000.. sad but true! the people here are mostly fans of Benfica(i hate them, coz they dont have respect for anyone)

Braga only have 16 000 supporters , our rival and neighboor Guimaraes have 29 000!

its curious..

Braga have 175 000 habitants and Guimaraes 53 000!

maybe the people here need some passion!

Lukasiewicz is defender, but against us he played at left forward(we had two sent offs in that game, one of poorest games in the league)

he's ok better than ours, he played well at Sporting game, they won 4-1 at home and leave Sporting out of the Title.

about Intertoto, the draw will be 29 july in Nyon, we could play with Sivasspor, or some team from Bosnia!
(thats the only thing i know)

How many Wisla's matches have u watched? ;)

If u r talkin about matches with Guimaraes - we played fu**in shit this time. We was so close qualify to Champions League two weeks earlier (Panathinaikos scored goal 88' in Athens and was extra time) so team morale was really poor.

Saganowski played there, hehe that year they drop division:D has i allways say 'dont stop, believe it'

and Wisla will be great again!

Coach 03.07.2008 15:03

If you are talking about Saganowski from Vitoria maybe you will talk sth about Chmiest - SC Braga (ex?) player ? :) In my opinion he is poor player

M. Chmiest, i liked him, but with Joao Tomas in form...was tough to get a place in the 11!
scored some goals..

you know, im geetin tired to see half-brazilian team! ok, they have cool players, but they have the bad in the world too.. i prefere European players like Polish(Grzelak, Kazmierczak, Joskowiak.. good football)

Chmiest is not brazilian, hehe, so he didnt get the first squad option!my opinion!:D

yeah, hes a tough guy! good in free kicks, and a good penalty shooter.. but he was very temperamental.

kaelowiec 03.07.2008 23:14

Marcin Chmiest is from Cracow :)

Cleber - it was our very good biznes to buy him. He is best defender in polish league.

is this your stadium with a wall of rock behind the goal , when on euro2004 Clarence Seedorf shot a ball to the rock ?
greetings

many players shoot the ball to the rocks hehe

yeah, now called Axa Stadium(one insurance)

Uran235 04.07.2008 00:42

So I've got some more questions for you :p

Firstly we heard that there was some sort of corruption in your league, but media in Poland didn't write much about that. I've heard that Boavista had been relagated and Porto ended with minus points and a ban from the euro-cups this season. I also have read somewhere that finaly Porto will play in Champions league this season. Could you give some more detailed info concerning that topic please?

Secondly how the hell Guimaraes did end up so high in the table?

Lastly, could you tell me what is the average pay of a good player in an average portuguese team, or perhaps of a average/bench player in a top portuguese club. I'm simply curious is there any chance of buying a quality player from a portuguese club.

And maybe there's something you would like to ask us?

Welcome to our forum, It is really nice to see a non-Pole from abroad liking Wisla:)
Anyway you stadium rocks, I mean it is so original. How is the atmosphere there? I know you said that your attandence is only like 12 000, but 12k can make some noise.

we dont know yet if Boavista will play in the 2nd league, coz they are in the courts.. Porto was accused by attempt of corruption(hehehe 'attempt', ridiculous..) its all about one person Pinto da Costa, Porto's chairman.. He's a sneaky fox, for real they dont need corruption to win games, but.. what can we do.. Portugal Federation of Football is like a circus! First they went out of CL, then came one guy sayin things without meaning, another meeting and they in again! crazy things

oh, Guimaraes...they played football.. the place is totally deserved! Good work by the technical staff.

the fee is variable.. you can have Moutinho with 90 thousand €/month
there are clubs in 1st who pay around 2000€ to his players.. to us quality doesnt have a price, but does matter if you find the talent earlier, you could manipulate the facts to your side, and win with that. In my opinion there are many quality players down here, but with no chance to play. Its sad, coz the old veterans allways keep the place and let the strenght and talent out. No fear in launch players in first squad!:-D anything im here.

there is one thing.. I WANT ONE SCARF!hehe cant find here:P

some people here have two clubs Braga/Benfica, Braga/Porto, Braga/Sporting..(f*ck them, i dont like that kind of supporters)

but there are that special people... Braga/Wisla hehe

The atmosphere is awesome when derbys, or big games. The Stadium sorround is perfect!
Try to ear the crowds when the stadium is full... makes me cry!hehe
we are few, but fanatic!:p

i have one wish, Wisla vs Guimaraes in 3rd round of CL (would be wonderfoul)

adequately I'm surprised that person from Portugal is interested in one of polish teams :-p Portuguese leauge is one of the best in Europe .... but our ... no comment . Even Wisla isn't on the mid european level . It's sad , cause on the stands we are always helping our footballers by singing

ooh.. stop it.. this is poor league in fact.. Of course there are Benfica, Sporting and Porto but other teams are poor.
A lot of corruption, just check who is the main sponsor of the league (bwin - bookmaker). I watch it sometimes because of betting so I can see how many matches are sold ;)

Teams in Portugal have a lot of Brazilians but their skills are like our, from Pogon Szczecin ;)
