Piotr recently (last three sesons) was playing as a left defender. Something like two years ago he was regarded as one of the most promising Polish player on this position (playing even in the national team) but his progress was not as expected and during the last season in Wisla he was only substitute. Our present coach is of the opinion that left defence is not a natural position for him (although his natural leg is left) and he tried him as midfield player.
His weak point is his head. From time to time he can be a little bit unpleasant to the coach or teammates.
Paweł is a forwardplayer. Generally regarded as one of the best in the Polish league. He was twice "best scorer" in our league but then(one year ago) he was badly injured and after rehabilitation it took him long time to recover. I would say that the last season proved that he is back in a good shape. In principle he is regarded as one of the best Wisła players during the last three years.

And now my question: do you have any idea of how much are you going to pay for both of them? According to the Polish press (which suppose to be based on information from the Turkish press) the price is 4M EUR which seems to be a little bite exagerated. Do you have any clue?

We will pay 4 Mil.€ to Wisla :) I know Pawel but I don't know Piotr. Glowacki was perfect transfer for us I think Pawel and Piotr will be good transfer for us

I would appreciate if you could inform us what is the source of information about the price for twins. The reason I am asking is because Polish press put just recently information that the president of your club mentioned only 2M EUR as a price for Brożeks. It would change dramatically the conditions of this transaction.

There won't be any transfer. We need Brożek twins, especially Paweł, because we've got only one good striker. Believe me Colman, our managment is not stupid, Paweł & Piotrek are staying in Krakow.

The transfer is very probable because of recent failures in both Ekstraklasa and european cups. Last season we've lost the champions title, though we've had an eight-point-advantage half way through the season. Also we've suffered two shameful defeats against clubs that names I can't even recall. So the owner decided that everybody's for sale, and hopefully we'll be buying new players in their place. The players themselves aren't bad, but something went wrong in the team and all of the players lost their spirit, though they should be fine in a new club.

Paweł Brożek is a very good striker, his got that killer instincts inside the penalty box. He can easily loose his marker and the ball seems to be looking for him. He suffered a major injury two years ago but since we were fighting to secure the title, both the player and the coach insisted on returning him to the field as soon as possible. I think that his return was a bit premature. His health is OK, but he never regained the form from before the injury.

Piotr Brożek is very versatile, for the last two seasons he was playing left-back, but originally he's a left-winger, but he can even play left-forward. Also if it's necessary he can switch to the right wing, and current coach has been experimenting with Piotrek as on of the 3 midfielders in 4-3-3. Piotrek has got a lot of individual skill, he's got a great strong cross from the left foot, he plays wonderful through-balls from the defence, he's also good in connective game. He's quite fast and strong. His only weakness is composure, he mixes great games with medicore or even weak ones. He can outplay Dani Alves just to be beaten by some league no-name in a game two weeks later.

We will pay 750.000 € to Piotr for one season and we will pay 750.000 € to Pawel.

If that's true, it means that Trabzonspor has made the best deal in history. It's better than selling cocaine to Europe.

I don't know what think about it. If they will play in Trabzonspor I wonder who will be shoot goals for Wisła... Paweł is one of the best striker in Wisła and it would be very hard to find footballer like he.

It would be unimaginable stupidity. If our board decided to sell them I'd at least expect Wisła to negotiate a decent price.

AMAZING PLAYER

Normally, i'd sayl something ironic like Piotr Brozek is polish Ashley Cole or Pawel is polish Villa. But now, i have to say that Trabzonspor has made a great deal. Of course, Pawel doesn't score every time, but he will make any Trabzonspor fan very happy. He's just in a right place in a right time.

its been 4th player transferred from Wisla to Trabzonspor(as far as I know). We were enjoying to have a player like Szymek. We still love him. Second one is Glowacki. He is recently recovered from injury and we hope he'll be better. Now, Brozek brothers signed for 2 mio euros. Hope, they'll be perfect signing for Trabzonspor FC.

We are going to be champion this year. So, you can watch your ex-players at Champions League next year, if you'd like.

I am 100% sure, they would have much more fun and satisfaction from playing in CL with WISŁA, not Trabzonspor. Please, don't write similar posts, because for PL fan CL is a dream, which we can't realise since many years.

Can you give me information about our new polish player Adrian Mierzejewski ? We will pay 5.3 million for this player, I think very expensive...

He had one of the best seasons in his career. Not worth this money tho~. He's worth about 2 millions euro. Your club could have had much better player for this money...

Adrian is good player. One of the best player in ekstraklasa. In my opinion he is to expensive. Maybe it's good transfer traffic for Trabzon.

To be serious - he is preatty overpaid in my opinion. Your bosses offered aproximately 4 mln Euro too much for him. We are still in shock that this player costs such a fortune - he isn't very yonug, his stats are average - so as Mierzejewski.
His dribble abilities is nothing special and Adrian defineatly won't win in speed conquest. Only pass I can accept as the advantage of this player and maybe set pices.

He was awarded with the best player in Ekstraklasa, but we all on the forum admited, that we have 5-6 better players in our league :) Your boss probably got insane, that he want to spend this huge amount of money for this average player - but it is ypur buissness, not mine :) For sure, you can buy two times better player than Mierzejewski for 5,3 mln. For example in winter we bought Melikson for 600k Euro and he is a real star in polish league he exceeds Mierzejewski significally and in polish fans opinion - Melikson is truly the best in Ekstraklasa.

And don't forget - we still have got hidden treasure - Wojciech Łobodziński - say something to your boss. 1,5 mln Euro will be okay :)

To be honest - both of them are ... average - the clue word in the Mierzejwski's case.

There was a huge hype about this transfer as it was the highest bid for a polish player ever.

Mierzejewski was unknown to the general public until 2 years ago. He played a good season for his side, made some nice appearances in team Poland but nothing out of the ordinary. If a week ago someone told me that he would be bought for 5 mln € I'd think that he's joking.

Considering the price you've paid i assume you have high expectations of him. I'm afraid you'll be dissapointed. Sure, he's a talented player but surerly not worth such a big price.

Mierzejewski is very talented, I think he can play in the first 11 on Euro 2012 but imo his value is 2 mln €, max 2,5. Yours manager is crazy :D, he like overpays for polish players :)

Our Coach wanted Mierzejewski, He says Mierzejewski is good talent. Our president don't want Mierzejewski he want Romaric from Sevilla :)

I think Polish players are ideal for our leauge. They are hardworking and succesful. For example Kamil Grosicki. He's performance was very good in last season Sivasspor paid 900.000 € for him. Capello follow him Fatih Terim said it.

In Poland, when someone says something like this, we usually say:"marne prowo".

Mierzejewski is a decent player. Nice at connective play, sometimes he can show off some clever moves or passes. Definitely he's one of the better players in Ekstraklasa. Though it's very arguable if he's any better than Melikson for whom we had paid about 700k euro in winter. Mierzejewski is worth no more than 1,5 mln though i understand that if you wanted him badly, you could have paid even a milion more. However the sum over 5 mln seems absurd.

The point is - that the owner of his club is extremely rich and if you say 2 or even 3 milions - he won't even discusse this offer. But with 5,3 is a lot even for him. And he becomes owner of a club with the biggest transfer ever (from polish league). If Mierzejewski was a player of any other polish club - you would buy him for 1,5-3 mln top! Anyway - good luck! BTW - anybody knows how mych Tranzon will pay Mierzejewski?

You will see, he is great player, people there are not as honest as they should, becouse Warsaw Polonia arent very liked here. However ! he is very fast, not as fast as Grosicki, and have good shoot
