As 25.06.2009 20:37

The game will be held in sosnowiec which is about 45mins driving towards west. Unfortunately our stadium is in bits and we need to seek some alternative ground to play qualifying rounds.
If you're into turism you should come to Krakow as it is 'a must see' destination in Europe.

As for Russians, we have every reason to be at least resentful towards them because they try to f**k us every time they have slightest chance. So they did in the past and I have no doubts they will try it in the future. Because it's not a topic about politics but about footbal we should concentrate on the game and other issues related to the tie itself.

Crazy North 25.06.2009 20:40

Say no to politics at Pitch/Stadium ;)

Ok, sorry i know that match will be held in Sosnowiec...

We will play in Sosnowiec in Silesia... not Krakow

Go to Sosnowiec and say them that they live in Silesia.

I'm sure they will be very happy.

Est0nian 08.07.2009 19:44

Hi, I'm also from Estonia but Estonian.

JK Nõmme Kalju is the club that currently enjoys the highest attendance, they usually get 300-900 people at their home matches (their stadium has a capacity of 500 though.)

Levadia has many Russian fans because they are originally from a town of Maardu which is mostly made up by Russians, there also many Russians in Levadia team. Levadia and Flora are the biggest rivals, mainly because one has many Russian players and fans while the other is made up mostly of Estonians.

Our highest league is Meistriliiga but it has low attendance numbers, although they have started rising lately.

Wisla sure is gonna be a very though opponent but many Estonian football fans think Wisla hasn't been as good as a few years back. I'm still gonna support Levadia since their still from Estonia. ;) But I think Wisla is gonna win 3-0 or 4-0 in Tallinn.

The company that sells tickets to the game says the game is gonna be held at Kadrioru stadium (Levadia's home stadium.)

Any questions, I can answer. :P

ktulu 08.07.2009 19:55

Is any Estonian TV going to broadcast the matches between Levadia and Wisla? Is it possible to watch the channel on the Internet?

Est0nian 08.07.2009 20:00

If it's going to be broadcasted then it can surely be watched on the internet. Is it going to be broadcasted by a channel, that we will find out next week, it's a bit early right now.

Krissu 09.07.2009 08:36

Make sure to inform us as soon as You'll know anything about live coverage.

Est0nian 09.07.2009 14:51

Sure, no problem. :)

It depends.
When we talk about Spillman, Kiepura, Sosnowiec is Poland.
but.... when we talk about Gierek, Giertych - Sosnowiec is definitely Silesia.

And what makes people from there happy ?
Thought, that they'll be hosting Mighty Wisla team for many, many weeks, makes them really happy and thankful. And i can understand that feeling. It's like visit of Michael Jackson in China.

And i'd like to say hello to all our Estonian visitors. God bless.

I know it's sounds strange, but... in this case, Sosnowiec is in the middle of fucking Israel. In the middle of desert, just beside Petah Tikva.

rafkur 09.07.2009 15:29

Petah Tikva ))))))))))))) 10/10 !

wisla k. levadia broadcast?

Hi, I would like to know whether any television will broadcast the match between Wisla Krakau vs Levadia?
thx for asw.

Arked 11.07.2009 02:38

There is no decision made yet. It seems that none nation wide television is interested in broadcasting Wisła - Levadia match (no comment:/). Maybe it will be shown by small internet TV channel via livestream (kuszotv.pl).

Est0nian 11.07.2009 14:14

The Estonian TV is not going to broadcast Levadia's home match so that's out.

And do you know why they aren't interested in showing that game ? Because this is goining in some wierd direction...noone wants to watch us ? :)

Gucio25 11.07.2009 18:06

I think that noone wants to watch match in 2nd elimination round of CL..
but it's really weird, because here's playing only country champions, so this SHOULD be most interesting "product" in european cups for countries like Estonia or Poland, no matter if it is 2nd, or 4th round.

Eestija 12.07.2009 15:34

Hi

here is someone from Estonia too.I am not in any fan clubs or like that, I'm just a football fan who likes to watch good games. And sure one is goming up at 22 of July. So I've got a question how can I buy Wisla scarf or if I cannot then maybe somebody from Wisla fanclub who is coming to Tallinn would bring me one. Of course I'll pay for it. So maybe who is intrested of that, could give me his/her MSN or I dont know what you use there in Poland.

ktulu 12.07.2009 16:19

Hello.
You can buy Wisla stuff at the official store, but the cost of shipment for foreign customers is quite high (60 PLN ~ 13,7 EUR)

As I recall, they didn't show our last CL game either (2008), but they did show CL games when Levadia made it to the second round (2007 and before.)

But I hope this will drive the Estonian people off their couches and to the game (if they really are interested.)

grzechu1991 12.07.2009 22:48

Welcome Estonians!
I have one question, do you find Tallin as a safe place? For example are there any areas, which Wisła's supporters should avoid?

Est0nian 13.07.2009 15:29

It's pretty safe, some areas might be a bit dangerous at night but those are far away from the city centre, places like Põhja-Tallinn or Lasnamäe, MIGHT be dangerous but I doubt it. Besides, when walking in larger groups, I dont think there will be any problems. :)

Angmir 13.07.2009 15:54

In my opinion the easeiest, and cheapest way of purchasing Wisla's scarf, is to buy one on eBay, or if any of you are coming to Poland to see match this Wednesday. See you guys on the stadium.

grzechu1991 13.07.2009 17:51

Ok, thousand thanks;)

Eestija 13.07.2009 21:11

grezechu1991 - For Wisla fans there are no danger places, because I assume if you are at least with group of 10 people you are out of danger. Maybe if you are alone dont go to Lasnamäe or Kopli. But I tell you Tallinn people should be scared of Wisla fans not the other way :)

Crazy North 13.07.2009 22:02

Eestija is 100% right...

fortuna 13.07.2009 22:20

what happened with wisla's defenders?

ktulu 14.07.2009 09:39

Good news - tomorrow's match will be broadcasted by Polish channels Polsat Sport and TV4, so our Estonian friends will be able to watch it via Sopcast

Peter Singlar and Arkadiusz Glowacki are injured. Marcin Baszczynski's contract ended and player left the club.

Martinus 14.07.2009 11:43

Yes we've got problems with defenders..
Probably our new player Mariusz Jop'll play tomorrow.

fortuna 15.07.2009 16:16

superb! ive got polsat tv ;) nice..

ktulu 15.07.2009 16:25

But today's match is on Polsat Sport, not Polsat. These are two different channels. If you don't have Polsat Sport, you will be able to watch the game on the Internet using one of the links posted on this site:
